61st celebration planned for Family Weekend
The 61st UNI Teacher Education Convocation and Celebration is scheduled during Family Weekend, October 5, 2024.
This special ceremony -- unique to UNI in its scope -- honors pre-service teachers who have met the criteria for acceptance into UNI Teacher Education and their overall commitment to the teaching profession. The event is an ongoing reflection of the legacy of generations of graduates from Iowa's leading undergraduate teaching program.
The event is slated for 10 a.m. in Lang Auditorium at Lang Hall. Students will be recognized as they walk the stage and receive the traditional commemorative pin as they celebrate this milestone in their journey. Family and friends welcome! A reception follows on the Lang Lawn.
