UNI has a unique role in maintaining and growing this pipeline of educators. We're solidly in the top 1% of public institutions granting bachelor's degrees in education nationwide. More than 61,000 teachers have graduated since our opening in 1876 — but that's not enough. Today, PreK-12 teachers are needed more than ever at all levels and in all subjects.
